Let's face it, this probably was a preventable contagion, that is, if humanity were cloistered in isolated gatherings like the Sentinalese. Yet humanity needs to move around and interact: we are a global village as we are constantly reminded. Supprime tuum stultiloquium! Yeah, maybe, with time, of course. Still, here we are in the grip of a conatagion. Some have acted rationally, others have decided to be even more radical with their misguided beliefs. Funny how no race is superior in their averting this virus - eh racists? Moving on, as to whether it descended from a bat colony via the often macabre diets of the Chinese, or whether we're just batshit crazy, who knows. (Let us know if you do, seriously.) First, let's remember that this is a disease that seems to be spread by contact, airborne or otherwise, or as the lay hoi polloi are now learning, exposure.
